We can’t gush enough over how awesome our wine club family is! This weekend we hosted our annual wine club vineyard tour here on the Royal Slope and enjoyed the many familiar and new faces in attendance this year.
For Josh and me, the winery and vineyard are a labor of love and we are so thankful to have the opportunity to share it with our wine club members each year in August when folks travel from far and wide across the state to visit the vineyard and sit down to enjoy good wine and food with us and fellow club members, along with a slew of Gård team members from our various tasting rooms and production facility in Prosser. It is an event we look forward to year after year!
Not to be outdone by great wine and amazing scenery at the new venue at Haven Barn this year, was the food catered by our very talented team at Public House. It was truly a team effort, led by chefs Chris Selfridge and Nick Cox, and also featuring farm fresh ingredients from Tonnemaker Hill Farm, located just around the corner from the Haven Barn. Doesn’t get any better than sourcing locally and our talented chefs pulling it all together for an incredible meal to accompany Gard wines.
One highlight at the vineyard tour was a sneak peak of our coming releases of our 2019 Vineyard Series blends, showcasing the best of our Conner Lee, Stoneridge and Solaksen vineyards. We’re looking forward to sharing these with you in the next club release.
As summer will quickly be shifting into fall, and harvest and crush will be rolling ahead at a breakneck pace, we look forward to continuing to host more club-exclusive events, so be sure to watch your email and Gård social media for upcoming events related to the October 15 club release and beyond.
