A New Chapter Begins at One of Washington’s Most Iconic Wine Country Destinations

concept2026 (1)

Welcome to the future Gård Estate Wines & Inn in Prosser. Over the coming weeks, this iconic property will begin its transition from Desert Wind Winery into a refreshed Gård Estate Wines experience — one rooted in estate farming, hospitality, and a deep sense of place.

While we make updates (see our Prosser glow up rendering at right), the tasting room, inn, and event spaces remain open and ready to welcome you!

Desert Wind Fans FAQs

Can I still purchase Desert Wind wines?
Desert Wind wines will continue to be available to purchase on site, online, and in select retail locations and restaurants across the country.

Can I be a member of both clubs?
Yes! For your first Gård wine club, you will receive a special “Introduction to Gård” 6-bottle allocation that will run on May 26. You can remain in the Desert Wind club that you are currently in.

What do I need to do to get switched over to Gård?
Email Riley at riley@gardwine.com! He can either collect your information from you, or you can opt in for him to transfer your information from Desert Wind.

I’ve never had Gård wines. How do I know I’ll like them?
Come and taste! If you’re able, stop by any of our tasting locations and mention you are a Desert Wind member and we will give you a complimentary tasting. If you can’t visit, we hope you will opt into the “Introduction to Gård” club allocation that includes a 50% discount. Email Riley to opt in.

Can I just stay in the Desert Wind club?
Yes! We will continue to run Desert Wind wine club as more of a subscription club, re-releasing some of your Desert Wind favorites for you to enjoy at home throughout the year. You will still receive discounts for the Inn and food purchases, and you can still purchase Desert Wind wines by the bottle at the Prosser location.
