The Collection Series

Gård Vintners' Collection Series aims to showcase the unique characteristics of our specific estate vineyard sites farmed sustainably on the Royal Slope. Lawrence Vineyards provides an excellent framework for grape production, while the diversity of each location delivers a high level of uniqueness and complexity to our wines.

2018 Cabernet Collection Series

Dried cherries, blackberry jam, menthol, and prunes. Swirling opens the bouquet to notes of coffee, currants, roses, underbrush, and slight hints of molasses and dried tobacco evolve with time in the glass. Flavors of fig, pomegranate, black fruits, clove, hazelnut, and baker's chocolate develop on the palate. The body is medium to full and smooth with backbone and acidity. Figs, prunes, and black berry jam. The 2020 Scarline Cabernet Collection has a complex and saturated dark fruit core. The wine opens to black licorice, mocha, dark cherries, and sandalwood notes. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied, with coating tannins and vibrant acidity. This outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon finishes long and chalky, with the perfect amount of oak spice and a touch of dried herbs. Enjoy now or in the next 10 years.

Black cherries, blackberries, fig, white pepper, violets and stone minerality. Swirling enhances notes of chocolate, and barrel toast. The palate expresses red and dark cherries, sweet tobacco, herbs and brown sugar. This wine shows excellent harmony and great fruit intensity and a medium to full body. This complex wine opens with a floral bouquet and ripe notes of dark cherry, raspberry jam, and black currants. Swirling brings forth cinnamon, orange peel, slate minerals and blackberries. The body of this wine is medium to full with a slightly angular mouthfeel and racy acidity, which adds some youthful texture. Plums, black cherry, and orange oil. The 2019 Conner Lee Syrah Collection shows intense floral and red and dark fruit aromas. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, with creamy texture and fantastic structure. Flavors of blueberry cobbler and baking spices are framed by subtle notes of oak and a lifted acidity to complete the bouquet. The wine finishes very juicy, with a fun touch of grip. Dark cherry, blackberry jam, and charcuterie notes. The 2019 Solaksen Syrah Collection has a sweet and meaty core surrounded by a floral lift. The wine opens to dark fruit marmalade, violets, and cedar wood. The mouthfeel is round and rich, with chalky tannins and persistent acidity. This plush Syrah shows remarkable texture and a beautifully sweet finish. Drink now or in the next 10 years.

Bramble berries and ripe dark and black fruit, with a touch of menthol and flint. Swirling brings orange peel, cigar box, and wild herb aromas. Black fruit, sweet tobacco, and stone fruit aromas. The 2019 Stoneridge Syrah Collection is explosive on the nose, with savory and spiced notes. The wine opens to notes of cardamom, dry figs, and oak spice. The mouthfeel is full bodied, with huge volume and remarkable structure.
