From the depths of our cellar comes something dark, brooding, and irresistible: the Boneyard Syrah. With its striking new label, inky hue, and aromatics that linger like a whisper in the night, this wine was made for autumn evenings, spirited gatherings, and a little seasonal intrigue.
To mark its release, we’re rolling out a four-part blog series featuring recipes that pair seamlessly with Boneyard’s bold character. Think smoky, savory, and just a touch mysterious - each dish crafted to delight the senses and keep you coming back for more.
First up: Boneyard-Braised Mystic Meatballs, a dish crawling with flavor and perfect for sharing. Stay tuned for the full recipe reveal next week… if you dare.
In the meantime, here's more on the wine:
Boneyard Syrah - 92 pts (Jeremy Young, International Wine Report) $28
100% Syrah · Boneyard Vineyard, Scarline Vineyard, Stoneridge Vineyard
Darkly savory yet utterly delicious, the Boneyard Syrah strikes a balance between ripe red fruit and earthy complexity. Notes of strawberry, dark plum, and blackberry weave with green olive, sweet tobacco, and fennel, finishing on an umami-rich thread of blood orange. Fermented in stainless steel and aged in neutral oak for 16 months, it’s a pure expression of Syrah — raw, layered, and hauntingly memorable.
Enjoy now or over the next 8 years
Pairs with: Charcuterie, grilled lamb, or wild mushroom dishes (in addition to recipes coming your way starting next week)
