A Look Back at 2025 & What’s Ahead for 2026

Josh and I are so grateful for this life we’ve built – a mix of hard work and dedication, combined with an immense amount of fun and pride in what we do – and we’re thankful you’re along for the ride with us!
As we reflect on 2025, we’re proud to celebrate Gård’s highest ratings yet for many wines from the 2021 and 2022 vintages – as well as Decanter’s Top 10 recognition for our 2022 Roussanne! It’s a true testament of our commitment to growing world-class fruit in our estate vineyards, as well as the talent and relentless desire by Matías, Hannah and our winemaking team to continue to craft wines that reflect the very best of our fruit.
As for the family, the kids are growing up quickly: Addi is preparing to study abroad in Italy during her junior year at Boise State. Ava is finishing her senior year at Royal High School and exploring college options. Kellen will be learning to drive soon as a high school freshman. I am amazed and honored to be their mother and their biggest cheerleader in all things in life. As they become more and more independent, it feels as though I’m merely an observer – relishing all the ways they take on life and persevere through challenges. I love following their various journeys.
Josh and I continue to adventure – in work and life! As we look ahead to 2026, which marks 20 years of Gård, we have more big things coming!
We’ll be opening a tasting room at The Yard at Harvest, Woodinville’s newest wine village, located right next to the newly opened Somm Hotel. We’re also nearing completion of our Regenerative Certification for the vineyards – an important milestone in our long-term commitment to stewardship and sustainability.
On the wine front, 2026 and beyond will bring an exciting wave of firsts. Our inaugural Vermentino from the 2025 vintage will be releasing soon. This past fall, we harvested our first Sangiovese and Nebbiolo from Corfu Crossing – look for those debut bottlings in 2027. Our first Chenin Blanc from Corfu Crossing will be harvested this coming fall, with Verdejo following in 2027. And from our vineyards in the Rocks District, we’ll soon be bottling an entirely new collection of wines – so keep an eye out for many fresh additions to the Gård lineup.
Thank you for being part of our story. We wish you and your loved ones a joyful new year filled with warmth, connection, and celebration!
Skål,
Lisa & Josh
