Position: Marketing Specialist (remote)

Overview

Oversee or assist owner Lisa and Marketing Manager Jennifer in managing various sales/marketing related activities, including but not limited to:

  • Email & Web site management

  • Social media management (Facebook, Instagram mostly; others as needed)

  • Creating various marketing tools, including flyers, postcards, menus, advertisements etc.

  • Managing tracking/reporting on various marketing projects

  • Assisting with implementing various promotions and inhouse/outside advertising (online & print)

  • Managing third-party relationships (Google Business and Yelp, for example)

  • Coordinate with tasting room managers and staff on all aspects of marketing/sales needs

 

Limited travel may be required to tasting rooms, off-site events, wholesale meetings, etc. 

Qualifications

  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly disposition and ability to work with a variety of personality types

  • Strong comfort level with social media platforms, especially Facebook and Instagram, but also including Yelp, Google Business and others

  • Strong ability to work independently, set goals, troubleshoot and manage time in order to meet deadlines and expectations

  • Flexibility to sometimes work unpredictable hours as needs arise (such as short-notice changes to Covid closure guidelines by the Governor, “off-hour” social media needs such as a customer interaction that needs managed)

  • Strong interest in the world of wine, especially Washington wine

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel or similar required; Outlook a plus)

  • Experience with Photoshop and/or photography/editing images a plus; experience with Canva a plus

  • Experience with Wix/Website management/content management/HTML/user interface design a plus

 

Compensation

  • Annual salary: DOE

  • Employee discount: 50% off wine bottle purchases

  • 401(k): Eligible for 401(k) after one year of employment and 1000 hours of work. Once that occurs, the company matches dollar for dollar up to 4%.

  • Health Insurance: Company covers 75% of health insurance premium after 60-days of employment

  • Vacation Policy:

    • ​0-3 years full-time employment = 10 days

    • 3-10 years full-time employment = 15 days

    • 11+ years full-time employment = 20 days
