Gård Vintners opened Gård Public House restaurant in our hometown of Royal City in the spring of 2021 to feature scratch-made, locally sourced cuisine from Executive Chef Chris Selfridge, as well as the full line-up of our Gård Vintners estate wines, craft beer and cocktails.
We source from a variety of local purveyors, including Tonnemaker Hill Farm, Pure Country Pork, Big Sage Organics, Griggs Apiary, Cascadia Organic Flour, Lawrence Orchards and many others.
We offer a friendly, down-home atmosphere, and welcome all ages. Royal City is a small farming community located on the Royal Slope approximately 30 minutes from Moses Lake and 45 minutes from Ellensburg. OUR EXECUTIVE CHEF
Chef Chris joined the Gård team in spring of 2021 to help launch Gård Public House restaurant in Royal City, Wash. Chef Chris has a passion for fresh, locally sourced ingredients and scratch-made faire. He pursued his love for good food with Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Portland and fine-tuned his talents with several well-regarded restaurants and chefs in the Portland area before returning home to start the highly acclaimed restaurant, Simmer, in Moses Lake.
Chef Chris was born and raised in the Columbia Basin, and together with his partner Yvonne Denham, oversee operations at Gård Public House.
